Description
Formed in 2016, this ensemble from the Kupiškis Cultural Center plays traditional musical instruments: accordions, bandoneons, violins, the basedlija, and percussion instruments. Their repertoire consists of Lithuanian folk dances—waltzes, polkas, marches, foxtrots, and suktiniai. The Lithuanian National Culture Center awarded the ensemble the highest Category I rating; the group has participated in the Song Festival and appeared on the LRT program “Duokim garo.” The ensemble is led by Alma Pustovaitienė.
