Description
The “Kandavas 119.” troop is a unit of the Latvian Scout and Guide Central Organization (LSGCO) in Tukums Municipality that started its activities at the “Nagla” youth center in the fall of 2025. At meetings, children and young people learn to tie knots, build a campfire, navigate the terrain and give first aid, and they go on hikes and to camps. At present the troop runs the Scouts and Guides level (ages 12–14). Anyone wishing to join should contact the troop leader or the LSGCO; in time, new members make the promise and receive a uniform and a neckerchief.
