Junior and youth choirs

The choirs of the music department at Visagino kūrybos ir menų akademija: students in years II–IV of the music program sing in the junior choir, and those in years V–VIII in the youth choir. Besides the full choir rehearsals, there are separate lessons for each vocal section. The singers learn to sing in several parts, train their ear, diction and stage presence, and perform at academy and town events. The choir is part of a music education program that complements formal schooling and accepts school-age children from 6–8 years old; for admission, contact the academy (Vilties g. 16).
