Description
The music department of Ukmergės meno mokykla has a junior and a youth choir, in which students of the school's music programs sing. Rehearsals develop the voice and musical ear, teach ensemble singing in several parts, and prepare programs of works by Lithuanian composers and folk songs for school concerts and town festivities. The junior choir rehearses twice a week, the youth choir three times. Choir is part of the music education program, so anyone who wants to sing first enrolls in the art school.
