Description
In 2023, on the initiative of Gražina Bezuškienė, six active seniors came together to form a group, and today “Darbščiosios bitelės” brings together 22 seniors. The group’s goal is to promote engagement among seniors, encourage their active participation in community life, strengthen a sense of community, and create meaningful leisure activities. Activities take place at the Grigiškės Cultural Center and the Grigiškės Library: seniors engage in crafts, organize educational sessions, hold exhibitions of their work, contribute to events at the cultural center and the local municipality, read stories at preschools, and participate in library projects.
