Description
A walking tour of about two hours through the historic Perloja Republic, starting at the Perloja History Museum. The roughly 700 m route leads past the graves of volunteers and partisans, down to the Merkys river where the old demarcation line ran and a bridge was blown up, and ends at the 1931 monument to Vytautas the Great. It is led by a museum guide, and the programme can be adapted to the group.
