Description
“Gegutala” is a Garliava folk ensemble founded in 2000 that primarily performs Aukštaitian folk music, and more recently, Sudovian and Dzūkian folk music as well. The ensemble members play in a small band (accordion, besedlė, drum, lumzdelis), the women learn to play the kanklės, and the group puts on programs for evening gatherings and weddings. The ensemble invites everyone to come sing, dance, and make music; the director is Nijolė Grivačiauskienė.
