Garciems wooden boardwalk trail, Garciems

This 650 m boardwalk runs from Aizvēju iela to the sea through the “Piejūra” nature park and wooded coastal dunes that rise to 16 m in places, following the Eimuri canal. At the end of the trail, by a bench, a smartphone with the SAN app shows the augmented-reality artwork “Nēģi nāk” about the lamprey’s journey. The trail is suitable for prams, and there is parking at the end of Aizvēju iela.
