Description
“Pamedėlis” is the folklore studio of kunigaikščio Gedimino progimnazija for students in grades 5–8. The studio is about getting to know Lithuanian folklore and traditions – old songs, circle dances, games and folk music-making; it is led by teacher Lijana Šarkaitė-Viluma. Sessions take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays in room 325; later the same day, the same teacher also runs a beginners' ukulele course. The studio is part of the school's after-school (non-formal education) programme and is for its students.
