Description
The folklore ensemble “Smeltužė” welcomes students in grades 1–8 at “Smeltės” progimnazija. Children sing Lithuanian folk songs, dance circle dances and play traditional games, learn about the customs of the calendar festivals and perform at school and city celebrations. Rehearsals take place twice a week after lessons, so both younger and older students can make it. The programme is free; anyone who wants to join should contact the leader.
