Description
Kalupe folk group “Pylna sāta” (formerly “Kolupka”) was founded in 2017 and has about ten women singers. The group collects material from local tradition bearers, learns traditional singing and plays folk instruments; its repertoire includes seasonal festival and patriotic songs. It performs at parish and regional events and took part in the “Baltica” festival in 2022.
