Description
“Pūnika” is a folk group founded in Pope in 2002, with about nine women singers. It sings Latvian folk songs, popular ballads and teasing songs with lyrics written by the local ladies’ club “Puceņoga”. The group organises seasonal festivities in the parish and teaches games and songs to the younger generation.
