Folk dance studio, grades 1–5

The school’s folk dance studio is for younger pupils: it dances in two groups – children from grades 1–2 and 3–5 rehearse separately, twice a week. Children learn Lithuanian folk dances, circle dances and dance games, develop their sense of rhythm, coordination and the ability to dance in pairs, and get to know the dance traditions of different regions of Lithuania. The dances they learn are shown at school and town celebrations. Classes are free and intended for the school’s pupils; to join, contact the school office.
