Folk dance club “Pynė”, grades 1–4

The folk dance club “Pynė” is for primary pupils at “Varpo” mokykla. It dances in two groups – children from grades 1–2 and 3–4 rehearse separately, once a week for two lessons in the choreography hall. Children learn the steps of Lithuanian folk dances and circle dances, develop their sense of rhythm, coordination and the ability to dance in pairs and in a circle, and show the dances they have learned at school celebrations and town events. Classes are free and intended for the school’s pupils; you can sign up with the leader or at the school office.
