Description

The Vilkaviškis district branch of the LASS (Lithuanian Union of the Blind and Partially Sighted) south-western center invites people with visual impairments to join in community activities. The music ensemble “Žara” sings at the branch, and there is a crafts club where items are made from wax and other materials – they are sold at fairs and in the LASS online shop. Members receive free community-based social rehabilitation: developing independent living, self-expression, healthy lifestyle and occupational skills, with emotional support, an escort and transport.
