Description
The Tauragė branch of Lietuvos aklųjų ir silpnaregių sąjunga (Lithuanian Union of the Blind and Partially Sighted) brings together about seventy people with visual impairments from the Tauragė district and Pagėgiai municipality. The music ensemble “Dainos vedami” sings at the branch, and in the activity sessions members make handicrafts that are later sold at fairs and online. Members receive free community-based social rehabilitation: they learn to manage independently at home and in their surroundings and develop occupational and work skills, and an escort and transport are arranged. Anyone who wants to join should e-mail the branch or drop in at Vasario 16-osios g. 8a – rehearsal and activity times are agreed with the branch.
