Description
The Eišiškės band plays folk music from the Vilnius region on the clarinet, violin, cimbalom, accordion, double bass, and percussion instruments. The band grew out of the accompanists of the “Ejszyszczanie” ensemble; since 2009, it has been operating independently, performing at local festivals and band competitions. The band is led by František Daškevič; adults interested in joining can inquire at the center.
