Description
The day center “Asveja” in Pabradė is for adults with physical or other disabilities (except intellectual and mental health disabilities). During the day, visitors sew, knit, weave, draw, work with clay and make handicrafts, and show their work at exhibitions and drawing competitions. A social worker, an activity specialist, a physiotherapist and a nurse work on site, so it is a place both to socialize and to maintain independence. The center can be attended for 3 to 8 hours a day, up to five times a week. The service is granted on application (form SP-8) to Švenčionių rajono socialinių paslaugų centras or the eldership; the fee depends on income.
