Description
Running since 2006, the day activity center at Joniškio “Saulės” pagrindinė mokykla provides day care and respite care for children aged 7 and over and adults with intellectual, mental health or complex disabilities. Visitors take part in woodwork, music, dance, sports and creative activities, learn everyday and social skills, and can get help from a speech therapist, special education teacher, occupational therapist and psychologist; families have peer support groups. The center holds an EQUASS quality certificate. To apply for services, contact the municipality; the school can provide information.
