Description
The Kėdainiai branch of Lietuvos aklųjų ir silpnaregių sąjunga (Lithuanian Union of the Blind and Partially Sighted) is one of the larger communities of people with visual impairments in the region, with more than a hundred members. The branch has a crafts club and a music ensemble started on the members' own initiative. It also provides free community-based social rehabilitation: building everyday independence, occupational and work skills, emotional support, an escort and transport arrangements.
