Description

The chamber choir “Con moto,” which began its activities in 1997, brings together people from a wide variety of professions—teachers, doctors, engineers, businesspeople, and social workers. The ensemble, which has been active for more than a quarter of a century, gives about 20 concerts each year in Lithuania and abroad, sings at Holy Masses, and regularly participates in the Lithuanian Song Festivals and the Nordic-Baltic Song Festivals (Klaipėda, Tartu, Helsinki). The choir has performed in Poland, Austria, and Estonia, and has participated in international choral festivals in Stockholm, Latvia, Prague, Malta, Sicily, and Spain. In 2009, the choir was nominated for the “Golden Bird” award. The choir is directed by Audronė Stepankevičiūtė.
