Description
The choir of the “Wileńszczyzna” ensemble performs Polish folk songs of the Vilnius region, works by the ensemble's founder Dr. Gabriel Jan Mincewicz and classical sacred music, and sings together with the dancers in themed programs and concerts in Lithuania and abroad. Since 2016 the ensemble has been led by Dr. Natalia Sosnowska, its long-time soloist and vocal consultant. Schoolchildren, university students and working young people sing in the ensemble; choir rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings at Lelevelio gimnazija, and everyone who wants to join is welcome.
