Description

The children’s singing studio at the Šilalė Cultural Center, which has been operating since May 2021, is attended by young local singers aged 4 to 11. During the classes, students develop their vocal skills and musical ear, cultivate a sense of rhythm, and learn proper breathing and voice control, as well as stage presence and artistry; they sing both individually and as a group. The repertoire includes cheerful children’s songs, contemporary works by Lithuanian composers, and popular music. Studio members perform at the Children’s Day celebration, the Christmas tree lighting ceremony, Advent afternoons, and February 16 concerts, and participate in the “Dainų dainelė” competition.
