Description

A Lithuanian dance club for primary-grade children at Alfonso Lipniūno progimnazija. In sessions, the young dancers learn Lithuanian folk dance steps and figures, dance in pairs and in a circle, and build a sense of rhythm, coordination and the confidence to perform on stage, then show the dances they have learned at school celebrations. The session takes place once a week – on Thursdays after lessons in the assembly hall. The club is free and intended for the school's students in grades 1–4; to take part, contact the school.
