Held at “Šiaulių Sauliaus Sondeckio menų gimnazija (II rūmai)” for its own children only.
Description
The children's folklore ensemble is for students in grades 1–4 at Sauliaus Sondeckio menų gimnazija. Once a week after lessons, children learn Lithuanian folk songs, circle dances and games, get to know traditional customs and prepare performances for school celebrations. The ensemble is led by a teacher who also directs the school's folk instrument orchestra, so students can carry on with folklore in the higher grades. To take part, contact the school's after-school (non-formal education) department.
