Description

Folk dance classes for third-graders at “Šaltinio” progimnazija. Children learn Lithuanian folk dance steps and simple figures, dance in circles and in pairs, and develop their sense of rhythm, coordination and teamwork, then show the dances they have learned at school events. It is a good first introduction to Lithuanian folk dance for those who may later want to dance in a bigger group. Classes take place once a week, on Fridays after lessons, in the assembly hall. The club is free and is intended for the school’s pupils in grade 3.
