Description
The children’s drama studio at the Šilalė District Municipality Cultural Center began its activities in January 2025; the group consists of 14 members, aged 10–14. The studio’s goal is to develop acting skills through theater exercises and games, cultivate stage presence and physical expression, participate in community activities, and stage and perform plays for a young audience. During sessions, the group performs artistic exercises and staged scenes, and the young actors are encouraged to act, articulate their lines, and improvise. In March 2026, the studio premiered the play “Duobė,” based on a play by Arvydas Ambrasas. Rehearsals take place on Mondays and Fridays from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.
