Description

“Ugnelė” is one of the oldest children’s and youth Lithuanian folk dance ensembles in Vilnius; it has already celebrated its 70th anniversary and is based at HOBIVERSE, the Sostinės vaikų ir jaunimo centras. Dancers learn traditional Lithuanian folk dances and customs, get to know the national costume, stage dances of their own and perform at festivals and competitions in Lithuania and abroad. Groups are organised by age – from 3–4-year-old beginners up to 19-year-olds – with classes twice a week. Dance experience is preferred for the senior girls’ group. Registration and contracts – through HOBIVERSE.
