Description
The “Atgaiva” sports club in Kuršėnai invites people with disabilities to play checkers and chess, throw darts and look after their physical activity and health. The club also provides an accredited social rehabilitation service for people with disabilities and their families – sessions follow an individual plan at least four times a month. Club members compete in other towns, and the club itself holds an annual sports festival, “Aš, sportas ir negalia” (“Me, Sport and Disability”; in September 2026 it was held for the 15th time). Those who want to join can e-mail the club; the social rehabilitation service is assigned by the municipality.
