Description
The Senior University at the Central Daugava NGO Center (ViSU) for people aged 55 and older: faculties of literature and journalism, business and social economy, and art and crafts; faculties of languages, digital technologies, sports, and health are planned. The academic year consists of two semesters (October–mid-December, January–May); from 2026 to 2028, activities will be expanded in Jēkabpils and Koknese with funding from the ESF+ project. Students choose one main faculty (for which they pay a membership fee according to the price list), attend two additional programs free of charge, and complete at least 3 hours of volunteer work each semester.
