Description

The Šilalė Youth Choir, founded in the fall of 2023, brings together young people aged 14–19. The group’s goal is to foster a love of choral music, develop musical skills, nurture musical creativity and artistry, strengthen the region’s choral music culture, and participate in musical events in the city, district, and Lithuanian musical events. In 2025, the choir was awarded a Second-Degree Diploma at the 8th National Children’s and Youth Choir Competition “We Are the Children of Lithuania.” The choir participated in the Lithuanian Centennial Song Festival, as well as in the Western Region and Tauragė County Song Festivals.
