Description
Founded in 2015, the Ādaži Canoe Club trains children and young people aged 7 and over on the canoe slalom course of the Gauja–Baltezers canal, where it flows into Lake Mazais Baltezers. Sessions build general fitness, slalom technique and safety on the water, and the club provides all the paddling equipment young athletes need. Water training runs from April to October; in winter the group skis and trains in a gym and a pool.
