English“Aušra” mixed choir for gymnasium students
Held at “Kauno „Aušros“ gimnazija” for its own children only.
Description
The “Aušra” mixed choir is an ensemble of Kauno “Aušros” gimnazija in which girls and boys from gymnasium years I–IV sing together. Rehearsals take place in the assembly hall three times a week: members learn to sing in several parts, train voice and ear, and prepare programmes for school celebrations and concerts. The choir is led by Dainius Druskis, who also directs the school's mixed student ensemble. Students who enjoy singing together are welcome to join; the choir is one of the school's non-formal education programmes, so it is free for students.
