Description
Latvijas Paralimpiskā komiteja (the Latvian Paralympic Committee) lists the archery club “Amazones” as a place where people with mobility impairments can learn archery. In the cold season, training takes place at the club's base in Ķengarags (Vizlas iela 1, 3rd floor); according to the federation, it is suitable for athletes in wheelchairs – there is parking, an elevator and a restroom. In summer, sessions move to the outdoor range in Spuņciems, which is also wheelchair accessible. Beginners are accepted on Tuesdays and Thursdays in two groups; before the first session, call the club and sign up. Training is paid, so it is worth checking the terms in advance.
