Antanas Belazaras Scout Troop

Upytės Antano Belazaro pagrindinė mokykla is home to the Antanas Belazaras scout troop (Aukštaitija scout group), which takes part in the non-formal education programs “Kelias” and “Skautiški nuotykiai”. The meetings are for scouts and senior scouts aged 10–17. At the weekly meetings they learn scouting skills – knots, orienteering, first aid, working in a patrol – and over the year there are hikes, trips and summer camps. The troop takes part in pilgrimage hikes and regional camps. To join, fill in the “Tapk skautu” form at skautai.lt or contact the regional leaders; the membership fee of Lietuvos skautija (Lithuanian Scout Association) is 17 EUR per year.
