EnglishAcademic mixed choir “Gaudeamus” for students – Vilniaus universitetas, Vilnius
Description
“Gaudeamus” is one of the oldest student choirs at Vilniaus universitetas, brought together by Konradas Kaveckas; in 2015 the choir marked its 75th anniversary. It sings at Lithuanian Song Celebrations, runs the classical music project “Klasika visiems”, performs works by Mozart, Fauré, Orff, Vivaldi and other composers, and collaborates with orchestras. Students who want to sing and can come to rehearsals twice a week are welcome. A short audition is held before a rehearsal – in September these took place at 18:30.
