English'The art of miniatures' – lesson and hands-on making
Description
The makers behind Small Stuff, a house of miniatures in Rīga, introduce pupils to three-dimensional miniatures: their types, history and the jobs that use them, from animation and film to architecture and stage design. Pupils examine examples, discuss the materials and skills involved and take part in making miniatures, which also teaches zero-waste thinking. The lesson for grades 1–12 is brought to the school or held in the exhibition at Maija iela 18, Rīga.
