Description
“Šėltinis” is a Lithuanian folk dance ensemble that has been active at Didždvario gimnazija since 1981. Students learn Lithuanian folk dances, dance in pairs and groups and prepare concert programmes, which they also take abroad; the school traditionally celebrates the opening of the ensemble's season. Rehearsals take place four days a week – in the morning before lessons and in the afternoon – with an accompanist playing for the dancers. The ensemble is for the school's students; to join, contact the leaders or the office.
