Young Riflemen

At Alytaus šv. Benedikto gimnazija, the riflemen's club runs in two groups – for students in grades 5–8 and in gymnasium grades I–II – who learn first aid, topography and orienteering, drill, the safe handling of air guns and outdoor survival. Classes follow the Lithuanian Riflemen's Union four-level program, and during school holidays the young riflemen go on hikes and to camps. Taking part is free: fill in the “Tapk jaunuoju šauliu” form on sauliusajunga.lt or contact the club leader; you become a young rifleman by taking the pledge.
