Wind Instrument Lessons

The Rudamina Art School offers private lessons in wind instruments: students can choose between the flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, or trombone, and learn proper breathing techniques, tone production, and how to read music. The elementary program is designed for children ages 7–11; in addition to individual lessons, students attend solfège and other group classes, and older students play in wind instrument and flute ensembles. During the admissions process, musical ear, sense of rhythm, and memory are assessed. Adolescents aged 12–18 who have not previously studied music may choose the music appreciation program.
