English"Volungė" Folk Ensemble
Description
“Volungė” is a folklore ensemble from Venta that has been active since 1997; its members sing Samogitian songs, perform Samogitian dances and circle dances, and speak in the Samogitian dialect. The ensemble consists of about 15 members ranging in age from 30 to 75, and the group regularly participates in national song festivals.
