Violin Lessons

In the violin class, students learn to control the bow and play in tune during individual lessons, and they play together with others in the violin ensemble. Students in grades 1–2 are accepted into the elementary music education program; in the first year, lessons are held once a week, and later twice a week. All first-graders take solfège, and participation in the children’s choir is recommended. For older youth, there is a 2–4-year amateur program, while adults can study in the adult program; instruments can be rented from the school.
