Description

The Jelgava Children’s and Youth Folk Dance Ensemble, which has been active since 1992, consists of eight groups with approximately 230 children—ranging in age from 3 years old to 12th grade. In addition to stage folk dance, classical dance classes are held on Wednesdays, and the group stages dance performances and concerts in Latvia and abroad. For the 2026–2027 season, we are especially looking for children aged 3–4 and boys of all ages; comfortable clothing and dance shoes are required for classes.
