Description
The Švenčionėliai Folk Theater, which has been active since 1952, is one of the oldest amateur theaters in the region; it was officially designated a folk theater in 1959. Every year, the theater stages new premieres, tours the district and throughout Lithuania, and participates in amateur theater festivals as well as the comedy festival “Juoko sūkurys” organized by the cultural center. The director is Richardas Leleiva.
