Description
For more than a decade Pelėdnagiai has been known as the themed Owl Village, welcoming groups to an educational programme of about three hours: owl legends and hooting, an exhibition of knotted owls (the oldest over 40 years old), archery, outdoor games and a walk around the village. Participants knot a bracelet or an owl using an ancient thread technique, and village hosts serve an ember-baked “owl egg”, carrot cake and acorn coffee. The programme must be booked in advance.
