Description
“Jovaras” is an adult instrumental group formed in 2021 that promotes the kanklės (Lithuanian zither), playing folk songs, original pieces and pop music, sometimes with guitar. More than ten amateur musicians of various professions play in it, and in 2025 it won first prize at the national competition “Tradicijų paveldėtojai”. Rehearsals are on Monday evenings, led by Ramutė Pozingienė.
