Ice Skating

Ventspils Olympic Center Ice Arena (1,500 m² ice rink, 942 seats in the stands) is used for short track, figure skating, ice hockey, and curling, and is open to the public for skating during designated hours. Each session lasts 1 hour; in addition to regular sessions, there are skating sessions with disco lights and ice hockey games. Skates for figure skating and ice hockey are available for rent; support is provided for young children learning to skate, and skate sharpening is available. Children 6 years old and under skate for free when accompanied by an adult; schoolchildren, full-time students, and retirees receive a discounted rate; monthly passes for 8 visits are available.
