Description
The Tauragė Folk Theater continues the city’s tradition of amateur theater, which dates back to 1906; The theater was officially named the “Folk Theater” in 1960. It stages productions, participates in festivals, and organizes the national amateur theater festival “Kvartetas.” The theater is led by director Genovaitė Urmonaitė.
