Smilgiai Culture Centre runs the “Music Studio” non-formal education programme, where children and young people learn to play various folk instruments and make music alongside professional musicians. The studio is led by Audrius Dervinis, who also leads “Smilgenė”, a first-category children’s and youth folk band founded in 1992 that performs at Song Festivals and folk band festivals and has toured abroad.
