Description
The Marcinkonys visitor centre houses the exhibition “Surrounded by Forests” on the nature of the Dainava forest and the people of the region. Staff give advice on the park’s nature trails, cycle routes and sights, and a guided tour of the exhibition or the park can be booked with a park specialist. The Zackagiris nature trail and the “Nuog dravės lig dravės” route start here; a lift gives access to the exhibition and the conference hall.

Tickets and prices
Dzūkija National Park Visitor Centre – Marcinkonys
Price: 1–2 € / visit (Adults €2, pupils, students, seniors and people with disabilities €1, children under 6 free; the day ticket (€5) also covers the Merkinė visitor centre, the Ethnographic Homestead and the tree-beekeeping apiary; a visit with a specialist costs an extra €2 per person)
